Who we are
SoloTable is a UK-based service for verified solo dining information.
SoloTable is the data controller for personal information processed through this site. For privacy questions, contact privacy@solotable.co.uk.
What we collect
If you contact us, submit restaurant feedback, send a request, or tell us about a no-match search, we may collect the information you choose to send, such as your email address, restaurant name, area, cuisine, solo dining feedback, request details, and message text.
The services that host and protect the site may also process basic technical information, such as request logs, for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
How we use it
We use submitted information to reply to messages, improve SoloTable, prioritise restaurants or areas to verify, and check whether solo-specific restaurant information remains accurate.
We do not sell personal information or publish your email address or private contact details without permission. We may review, summarise, edit, aggregate, or use internal tools to help process submissions, but private feedback is not presented as an unedited public review or rating.
Lawful basis
We use personal information where it is in our legitimate interests to run SoloTable, respond to messages, improve restaurant information, keep the site reliable, and understand whether the service is useful. We may also use information where needed to comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, security, form handling, email, analytics, and operational or internal tools. They may process information for us only so those services can work.
Cookies and analytics
SoloTable does not use advertising cookies or sell browsing information. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand basic product usage, such as restaurant views, booking-link clicks, searches, requests, and feedback submissions.
How long we keep it
We keep messages, requests, no-match submissions, and feedback only for as long as needed to run SoloTable, verify restaurant information, respond to you, and understand product quality. You can ask us to delete information you have sent.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to some uses of your personal information. To make a request, email privacy@solotable.co.uk.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Bookings and availability
SoloTable does not provide live availability, booking confirmation, confirmed inventory, payments, or reservation management. Booking links, phone numbers, and restaurant websites may take you to third-party services.
Restaurant information
We aim to make solo dining information practical and accurate, but restaurants can change policies, seating, timings, menus, pricing, and booking rules. SoloTable does not guarantee that a restaurant will have space or that every detail will still apply when you visit.
Feedback
If you submit feedback, we may use it to improve SoloTable and verify restaurant information. We may also use feedback to create aggregated or edited public insights, but we will not publish your email address or private contact details without permission. Private feedback is not presented as an unedited public review or rating.
External sites
SoloTable may link to restaurant websites, booking providers, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, service, content, or policies.
Content
The SoloTable interface, copy, and visual assets are protected by copyright. The SoloTable name and brand may also be protected by trade mark and related rights. You may not copy or reuse them as a competing service without permission.
